What is PPS?
Programmable Power Supply is a USB PD 3.0 extension that some phones, including many Galaxy models, use for efficient fast charging.
PPS (Programmable Power Supply) is part of USB Power Delivery 3.0. Instead of a few fixed voltages, PPS can adjust voltage in small steps. Compatible phones can charge more efficiently and with less heat.
Samsung’s Super Fast Charging on many Galaxy USB-C phones needs both a PPS-capable charger and a suitable USB-C cable. A PD charger without PPS can still charge the phone; it may not reach the phone’s highest advertised wired speed.
Charzar compatibility uses PPS only when both the charger profile and the device record list it. We do not treat brand marketing names as PPS.
